The Ethiopian Institute of Peace conducted trauma –informed recovery and resilience (TIRR) training for 156 community facilitators and 6 community coordinators. The training was delivered from March 15 2024 to March 25 2024. The trainings are organized in two rounds at Shewit Hotel, Adwa Town, Central Zone of Tigray, Ethiopia. The TIRR trainees will have acquired tools, facilitation and communication skills. Among the trainees 50% are women. After the training, the facilitators who are recruited from respective communities, will help the communities to conduct TIRR sessions with the aim of addressing war-induced trauma on the community of Tigray.
