Project Launching, Validation Workshop, and Joint Planning Session
The Ethiopian Institute of Peace (EIP) convened the workshop and joint planning session on July 11, 2023. The purpose of the workshop was to validate War Impact Assessment, which was conducted in selected woredas of Central Zone Tigray and identify specific areas for project intervention.
The workshop brought together 62 participants, including community representatives (women, youth, the elderly, religious leaders, prominent personalities, and different associations), as well as community representatives. Representatives from different government sector offices participated in the workshop in a similar manner, It encompasses Plan and Finance, Peace & Security structures at various levels, Diversity and Relations of Peoples’ Office, Social Affairs and Rehabilitation, Disaster Risk Management Commission, zone and woreda administrations, Moreover, the workshop was attended by representatives from Medicines du Monde (MdM), the Inter-religious Council of Tigray, the IOM-Axum Office, and prominent individuals from the private sec
